ClockBox

The ClockBox is a MIDI Time Code and MIDI Show Control message generator. The ClockBox contains the exact time and date and generates MIDI messages that can be used to control devices that are set up to respond to these messages. The time is maintained by a backup battery even when power is removed, and resumes at the correct time when powered up again. A footswitch (or contact-closure) input allows the ClockBox to be synchronized to a specific time whenever the contact is closed. The latitude and longitude of the ClockBox's location can also be programmed into it, allowing the ClockBox to be used for synchronizing events to sunrise and sunset times. We have created a Windows application for the ClockBox that allows it to be set easily (click here to download).

The ClockBox is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most products (see FAQs - Power for more information). A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.
