MIDI Solutions Mapper

The MIDI Solutions Mapper maps MIDI messages from one type to another type in real time. The Mapper will accept a total of 10 settings, each of which describe an input message type to be mapped and an output message type. Settings are stored in a priority format - if two settings conflict the higher priority setting takes precedence.The Mapper is programmed by sending it MIDI System Exclusive messages (see FAQs - Programming). This can be done easily with the Processors Programming Tools software. Once programmed, its settings are retained even after power is removed. The Mapper can be reprogrammed with new settings as often as needed.
The Mapper is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most products (see FAQs - Power for more information). A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.
